It All Starts With A Name

My name to be exact. I am Courtney Elliott. Freelance writer extraordinaire. Voice of the revolution. Okay so that last one was a joke. One way I express myself is through my sense of humor, which some find funny, and others find it, well not. So I suppose the first step is to let you know a little bit more about me, right. Why would you want to read something by someone you care nothing about? Okay so you know my name, my age is unimportant, as well as my gender although hopefully you don't need me to tell you the answer to that one.
Okay so since the basics are out of the way now we need to start with the hidden secrets the things nobody knows, but everyone wants to. Okay so that's not true either, but it doesn't hurt to dream BIG. My favorite thing to do is write is is my passion, the thing I love most in this world...okay second most [family comes first]. I have so many journals it is impossible to keep up, I mean have tried, but it seems to me it is a wasted effort. Each is filled with my ideas, you see I write stories, nothing you would have heard of...yet, but ones that I hope are enjoyable by everyone. That is part of the reason I do not tell my age. I don't want you to judge me based on that, I want to appeal to everyone, and that is what I plan to do, I hope you aren't too distraught about that.
At the moment I work at Wal-Mart as a cashier, it is a pleasant job somedays, no need not to be honest. I'm mainly telling you this because if you are reading my blog it means you somewhat have an interest in my life, and let's face it where I work is a big part of my life, and you will hear about it...well if you keep reading anyway. It's an entertaining job that is for sure, I know to customers, it may not always seem as such, but really it is. The people that work there are humorous my boss for instance likes to play in the arcade at the one I work at. It's a laid back enviroment and I do like it. I have been there now for nearly three years and believe me that is longer than I expected, but I still have dreams for myself, I have not settled, which is good for me. I plan to make an impact.
Okay so me...check...job...check...passion...check. What does that leave me with? I guess my reason for starting this blog besides to obviously ramble about things that you probably have no interest in. I suppose it's to add my voice. To simply speak for anyone who might choose to listen to what I have to say. Hope you enjoyed my first blog...it's one of hopefully many. Court
